Tu is interested in an idea of how a growing landscape would be conducted in photography. Tu tried to question how Tu's landscape could be look like, which elements in the photographs that could represent for the concept of growing.

Tu constructed a landscape by using found objects including some (toy) cars and a (candle) house.

Raised in Vietnam, Tu hardly saw snow and forest. For that reason, Tu kind of falling in love with the beauty of Canada nature. Tu pretended to depict Canada landscape in the photographs. Photographing under -20 Degree Celsius - weather was the most challenging experience in this project.

Tu's subjective images focus on the house and its environment. The house was built on an exhausted land on which no plants could grow; and the weather was extremely cold and harsh. when the snow was melting and people started taking care of their land, nature would be flowering. Plants were growing, Trees were composed into a beautiful forest.

On the other hand, nature is growing, so human is. But, are we on growing so quickly that we almost forget to take care of our nature? The environmental issues are also growing as long as human takes care of the environment irresponsibly (deforestation for constructions of urban, land degradation, etc.). Consequently, through this project, Tu also brings a debate on the ways that human is treating their land and their nature: "Are we growing on the right track?"
